The 'mdk' fonts have been painted with patience and pain by me 
(Pablo Saratxaga <pablo@mandrakesoft.com>), I know they arequite ugly,
I'm not an artist nor a typograph. However they are uner GPL; feel free
to improve them.
The reason of ther creation is that, aside from iso8859-1, there were no free
fonts available at the needed point size for the needed charset encodings and
with a similarly looking shaping (an Helvetica-like looking has been choosen)

For standard cyrillic only cp1251 fonts are used; that way we need
only one font per size, instead of 4 (cp1251, koi8-r, koi8-u and iso-8859-5).

The Japanese, "cursor", Unicode and Chinese GuoBiao fonts come from
stock XFree86 package, the Big5 font comes from "taipei" font package;
they are maybe too big, if you know a smaller point size font that is
both freely distributable and nice and easy to read, feel free to tell us.

The Korean pcf font has been created by converting the True Type font
Baekmuk Gulim, in order to have a font of the right point size for the install
that doesn't take too much disk space.
Also, I ONLY KEEP THE HANGUL AND REMOVED THE HANJA, so that font is
not suitable for general purpose use, I made it only for the isntaller,
to save space.
