In Debian GNU/Linux Woody, also known as Debian 3.0, Caudium
and Pike 7.0 and 7.2 are included in the distribution. If you
use Woody, you will have Caudium 1.0 and Pike 7.0/7.2. If you
use Sid you will have the latest Caudium and the latest Pike;
these two packages are actively maintained by the Caudium
community, and you will have frequent updates. If you want to
test the latest Caudium under Woody, add this to your
/etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://grendel.firewall.com/debian/caudium/1.2 unstable main

If you want php4 Debian package for Caudium, you can do:
# su -
# apt-get update
# apt-get install -f caudium caudium-modules \
caudium-ultralog caudium-pixsl caudium-dev

And then grab the PHP4 sources:
# exit
$ cd /usr/src; apt-get source -d php4; apt-get build-dep php4

If you don't have devscripts and debhelper installed, install them now. Then enter the /usr/src/php-4* directory and do:
After some time and some coffee you should have php4 packages for Apache, CGI and your fresh Caudium.
